From the reviews
We rented the house and property yrs ago for our wedding. As a venue it is unmatched! Infinite picture backgrounds. The place is just beautiful! Whether you want an indoor or outdoor wedding, this place is fantastic! And it’s a park so you can just go there.
One of the most beautiful places in Rochester. Without even renting the grounds you can walk around the gardens and water features. Great place for family photos, etc. Also an option to rent the house for events, weddings, and etc
It was such a beautiful and peaceful place to walk the gardens around the house and even though the house wasn't open that day, my friend and I still took in the beauty of the place. What a wonderful place to either have a picnic lunch or to sit on a bench and read or write.
A truely beautiful, historic place! My niece got married there and the grounds and area were just perfect!
Getting married at Plummer House
Plummer House comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
