As a wedding photographer, I’ve photographed hundreds of different wedding venues, but there’s something undeniably special about The Paine Art Center and Gardens. The historic estate, intricate architecture, and stunning gardens create many beautiful backdrops for your wedding photos.
Fantastic gardens and art center with rotating exhibits. Many thine these are regional and culturally related to indigenous people. Very beautiful mansion is used along with the gardens to present the exhibits. This is a very well managed property. Kid friendly and a great place for weddings.
As a vendor(DJ, Exceptional Entertainment) that travels all over the state of WI, I can honestly say that the Paine is a top my list for venues to work with. Their staff is knowledgable, friendly and very easy to work with. They truly care about making every wedding the absolute best it can be.
A MUST visit. This historic mansion is gorgeous and houses fabulous exhibits year round! The gardens are stunning and serene! Beautiful wedding venue too!
Getting married at Paine Art Center & Gardens
Paine Art Center & Gardens comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
