I’ve attended several events at Nicotras at the HGI, mostly related to my young daughter’s school events. The venue is flawless, well-maintained and kept, the food is excellent, the service is always great.
We were there couple of weeks ago as vendors for one of the weddings. I won't be reviewing the actual property, but rather employees. On the day of the wedding our bride had a personal dedicated wedding coordinator/assistant Victoria and let me tell you, she did an amazing job.
Our function was at the Trevi garden and everything was beautifully arranged, giving the impression of a garden wedding. The meals were very palatable and three choices were provided - chicken martini, short ribs and encrusted fish of some sort. The short ribs were excellent. There was also a salad and a pasta course.
I had such a wonderful time here for my sisters wedding. The room was absolutely beautiful. I was floored that this kind of place actually existed in Staten island. The service was impeccable, the staff were friendly and generous. The food was probably the best part, every bite was more flavorful than the last.
