From the reviews
June 2019 will be ten years since Lois Heckman married my wife and I in her beautiful yard. At the time I was getting ready to deploy and what would have been a much bigger ceremony turned out to be a very small intimate ceremony between us and my in laws.
Lois created such a beautiful wedding ceremony for my husband and I. She was very creative and knowledgeable offering many tips and advice along the way. She really made the ceremony very personable and intimate!
We worked with Lois for our wedding ceremony on 7/27/25 at Pocono Palms and we couldn’t have been happier!! First, Lois was accessible to us all throughout our planning process with any questions that we had about our ceremony, choosing a ritual for the ceremony, writing our vows, etc.
We were just thrilled with Lois as our celebrant for our vow renewal/wedding/hand fasting ceremony. We were a COVID couple who never got to have the big, beautiful ceremony and when we reached out to Lois last year, we KNEW she was the celebrant for us.
Getting married at Lois Heckman, Celebrant
Lois Heckman, Celebrant comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
