Thank you to the Lairmont for providing such a beautiful and classic space for our wedding! Everything about the Lairmont was absolutely perfect. The staff, especially DJ, was so friendly and kind throughout the entire process.
This venue is a dream and the staff are incredible and so great to work with. If you want that vintage/royal feel, then you've found it. I wanted the royal look of the ballroom with those windows as our backdrop so I chose to have both the ceremony and dinner inside but during the summer, they have large tents outside…
Lairmont Manor in Bellingham, Washington is an extraordinary venue that radiates timeless elegance and charm. As a wedding photographer, I was captivated by its Italian Renaissance architecture, lush greenery, and intimate ambiance.
Growing up in Bellingham, I told myself if I ever get married, this is where I’ll have my wedding. Well, the day happened and I married the love of my life here. We traveled all the way from Scottsdale Arizona back to my little hometown and it was everything we could have ever asked for!
Getting married at Lairmont Manor
Lairmont Manor comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
