This venue had all of our guests in awe with the incredible views & picturesque landscapes & gardens. Even better, the staff was professional and easy to work with. Kristin originally walked us through the property and helped us throughout our entire wedding planning process.
What a gorgeous venue for a wedding! Historic London Town & Gardens is truly one of the prettiest event locations in the DMV. We enjoyed our family wedding this weekend at London Town & Gardens. The venue is perfectly situated with a gorgeous river view. And the reception area was beautifully decorated and allowed for all of the guests to enjoy the evening under the tent!
This is one gorgeous wedding space. The absolutely lush gardens, the historic estate properties, the access to the pier on the water, there is just so much that is photogenic and beautiful about Historic London Town and Gardens. Pictures or it didn't happen, below :)
Getting married at Historic London Town & Gardens
Historic London Town & Gardens comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
