As a wedding photographer, I've had the pleasure of shooting at Heartwood Hall—a historic wedding venue just outside of Memphis—on numerous occasions, and I must say, this place never fails to amaze me. From the moment you step onto the grounds, you are greeted with an incredible sense of tranquility and beauty.
Our son was married at Heartwood Hall on March 21, 2015. This is our second child to be married so we have had a little experience in this area. First the venue was a perfect match for Robert and Courtney. The wedding site could not have been lovelier.
My son and daughter-in law just got married there. It was a perfect day in every way! The property, house, and barn are breathtaking, making beautiful photos a guarantee. Many thanks to our wedding coordinator, Kelly! She treated us like friends, and delivered the wedding of dreams. ❤❤❤
As a wedding photographer, I get to see a lot of venues, and the first thing that always stands out here is the grounds. They’re the real show stopper. Every inch of the property is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, towering trees, and soft light that makes every moment feel magical.

First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception.
