Haywood Hall is a historic home in downtown Raleigh. I have officiated intimate weddings inside and larger weddings in the grounds. It is beautiful inside, and has lovely gardens outside. I highly recommend this wedding venue.

We’ve just moved here from the West Coast, and family came to visit. They love historical homes and history, but all the ones online that are so beautiful I guess are closed now, which is really sad!! So we didn’t have any hopes for this one BUT ladies were there and helped us get a tour the next day!!!
As a photographer, I absolutely adore Haywood Hall House. It has the ease of being in the heart of Downtown Raleigh, but the landscaping to make you feel like you are in your own private area for a wedding day or event.

First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
