From the reviews
My husband and I had our wedding here and it was amazing! The staff was awesome, the home and ballroom were amazing, and we all had such a good time! A big big thank you to Amy for helping us with everything. This place is simply wonderful. We could not be happier with how it turned out; everything was perfect.
We stayed here with a wedding party and it was everything we needed plus some! So spacious and worked great for a lot of adults and some small children. The housekeeper (I forget her name) was so sweet and helpful throughout the entire stay. The place is clean and so conveniently set up with the venue right next door.
Big oak trees welcome you to this beautifully renovated home featuring comfortable themed rooms. The courtyard, front & back porch, and common areas are spacious and mindfully designed. I was welcomed with refreshments & the sound of birds! My room was facing West & the view of the sunset was not comparable.
Getting married at Grand Magnolia Ballroom & Suites
Grand Magnolia Ballroom & Suites comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
