My husband and I got married here on August 1st, 2020 and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. After COVID completely changed our wedding plans and we had to cancel our large 250 person wedding at our original venue, I contacted Chris & Becky to see if The Glasshouse was available on our date.
If you are looking for an intimate, beautiful wedding venue, look no further. My husband and I knew we wanted to have a small wedding and started looking in southwest Michigan based on our family’s locations.
I am not sure where to start with how amazing of a venue this is! I was welcomed into the Glass House as a photographer this past weekend, and was blown away by the space + the owners. Becky's presence is so warm and helpful. You can just see/feel how passionate she is about hosting guests in her space!
Getting married at Glass House Creative Community
Glass House Creative Community comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
