From the reviews

I visited Garvan Woodland Gardens on Memorial Day and had a wonderful experience. It wasn’t too crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. We paid about $60 for two people, and it felt worth it. Even before entering, we could hear a male peacock calling, which added to the vibe (though we only saw a peahen).

Gorgeous views both large & small. Wonderful variety of natural landscapes & curated gardens. Bugs to find, birds to spot & artwork to admire. Seems to check a lot of marks for all generations of visitors. I was lucky to visit the Chapel before a Wedding & it is truly a remarkable piece of architecture to see.

★★★★★ — Matthew, Feb 2026

March 14 was a great time to visit to see many blooming flowers. Some were already bloomed and finished but many/most were still open and more buds coming in. Be sure to check the chapel if there will be a wedding going on when you want to visit.

Getting married at Garvan Woodland Gardens

Garvan Woodland Gardens comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
