After unsuccessfully looking for a venue for our engagement party for weeks, we found this hidden gem while visiting my family in Atascosa and we are so glad we did! Laura is such an amazing host & coordinator who is extremely responsive and willing to help any way she can.
We had our wedding here in May. Diamond and her staff were excellent! They delivered great customer service throughout the wedding day and treated our guests with kindness! During the wedding planning, Diamond brought our vision together with her dedication and efforts.
My daughters reception was perfect. (10/4/25) Diamond and crew were prepared when we were not and let us come in to decorate early. Everyone had a great time eating, dancing and celebrating.
The location is under new management. I have enjoyed working with Diamond. She is a hard worker, open to new ideas and will execute with dedication for every client. I would recommend this venue for any wedding of 160 or less. It is right outside the city but has a country farm feel to the property.
Getting married at Garden Heights West
Garden Heights West comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
