From the reviews
I photographed a wedding here and the gardens are absolutely beautiful. The convenience of having everything from getting ready all the way through the reception really helps make wedding days stress-free for both the vendors and the couple. Cannot wait to work at this venue again next year!
Gamble Garden is a lovely and quiet respite in Palo Alto. Whenever I'm in the area and have some time, I stop by for a stroll around the garden to see what's in bloom. There are benches to sit and gather. I've seen a wedding in their outdoor area and I believe you can rent the house for events.
Love Gamble Garden. Their programming is excellent, including great Christmas and Easter events. They also offer reasonable rental rates and helpful event staff. We hosted our baby shower there and it was just lovely.
Getting married at Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden
Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
