This is the venue of my dreams - outdoor garden vibes (gorgeous weather for our wedding at the end of April), historical interior. We booked our venue during Covid and actually received a discount for booking without an in-person tour.
I'm a wedding photographer and have shot many weddings here and it's always a pleasure to work with the staff and the food is always great. The grounds are imaculate and the lighting is perfect. The outdoor reception area is big enough for the largest size wedding or intimate gathering as well.
Attended a wedding here, this is a perfect place especially if you like the historical feel. Layout was nice, valet was an option. Not sure if it was the The venue that offer the catering but it was very well done. nice set up
I recently photographed a wedding here and it’s such a beautiful venue. The wallpaper upstairs is amazing.
Getting married at Darlington House

First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
