From the reviews
The place itself is absolutely gorgeous but the woman who owns it is insane. She went from being really nice to getting in our faces and telling us to wear masks even though we were outside and taking wedding photos.
For full disclosure: I toured this location but did not end up booking it. Just thought I'd add this review so others who are researching can get more photos and info. It's a beautiful and whimsical site! The grounds are so beautifully landscaped and it looked like something out of a fairy tale.
I am beyond words with this venue. The owners made it incredibly easy on my wedding. I was stress free for most of it. Even when photography was an issue carol said she would take pictures as well just in case.. I am beyond grateful for carol,Tim and Steve for making my wedding close to perfect.
I was a guest at a late September wedding. This venue is gorgeous! It's peaceful, very shady, and makes it feel like you are in the middle of the woods even though you are just 10 ish minutes from a good-sized town.
Getting married at Dancing Deer Mountain, LLC
Dancing Deer Mountain, LLC comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
