We recently celebrated our nuptials at Christianson's Nursery by hosting a Garden Party at the schoolhouse and grounds. Simply put, it was a dream. The grounds are absolutely stunning. This place is like a portal to a magical fairy, shire wonderland, lol. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the hydrangeas.
We’ve photographed and filmed weddings at Christianson's Nursery many times, and it’s always a joy to return. This venue is truly one of a kind, with so many beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces - from the charming vintage schoolhouse to the lush gardens, light-filled greenhouse, and the vinery.
A gorgeous plant nursery! This is my favorite place to buy plants or just be around them. The staff are kind and helpful, the environment is peaceful, a great place to bring kids too! They have a beautiful rooster, some hens and goats. Along with mini horses and llamas.
Getting married at Christianson's Nursery
Christianson's Nursery comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
