Hello, If you are looking for a place to host any kind of close, intimate event, Chateau 1870 is the place!! There is so much to say about Chateau 1870, the way we experienced this intimate location for out wedding. Our 1st encounter was with Lily, her smile, energy and informative nature was the best 1st impression.
It took me some time to write this review because I wanted to make sure I captured the feelings and experiences I had. We had the pleasure of hosting a family and friends celebration at Chateau 1870 on December 31st, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Chateau1870! The family who owns this beautiful space is incredibly sweet and genuine, and they truly care about every detail of your experience.
I’ve had the pleasure of co-hosting two beautiful birthday celebrations at Château1870, as well as attending several of their curated events—and every experience has been exceptional. If you’re looking for a unique, intimate, and beautifully designed event venue in Metro Atlanta, this space truly stands out.
Getting married at Chateau1870
Chateau1870 comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
