My wife and I first time in St. Augustine, booked a last minute at Castle Garden. For thanksgiving weekend. I called to personally make a reservation over the phone, had a delighted conversation with Bruce, and made the reservation with no problem.
We chose Castle Gardens as our spot to get married. Bruce was a wonderful host. The garden was just what we wanted....Beautiful...for our simple wedding. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Bed slept very well. Felt at home. Breakfast was good also...great coffee.
My husband and I had made a last minute reservation. It was late at night and we had no problem getting booked in. Bruce our host is very welcoming! The place was beautiful and had alot of history to it. Bruce made spectacular pancakes and sausage in the morning! Our room was very cute.
I cannot say enough good things about this place! It’s cozy and beautiful in an old fashioned kind of way which is exactly what we were looking for. Bruce is amazing and the perfect host. We felt like family and didn’t want to leave! My teenage daughter also loved our stay and can’t wait to go back. Love love loved it!
Getting married at Castle Garden

First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
