From the reviews
We had the most incredible wedding weekend staying at The Bunn House! It was the perfect setting for our small destination wedding where only four of our guests were local. The house’s walkability and charm made it easy for our guests to explore and enjoy everything downtown Asheville has to offer!
We had our wedding here on October 14th and it was the perfect venue! The grounds are beautifully done and maintained and the large space allows for plenty of people and different areas for the ceremony and reception. An added perk is being able to stay on site and the rooms are so large and every amenity is provided.
My wife and I own Overjoyed Weddings and Events and we had a wedding at the Bunn House this past weekend. We worked with Ali the venue manager throughout the process of the wedding. She was a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable and professional making the process easy and simple on our end.
My DJ and photo booth teams had the opportunity to work at a wedding at the Bunn house recently and they had nothing but great things to say about the venue and the management team. The grounds are stunning, centrally located in downtown, and the venue is so luxurious.
Getting married at Bunn House
Bunn House comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Bunn House
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Bunn House — garden venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
