From the reviews
We are attending homeschool classes here with Ellen. The classes are absolutely wonderful and the location is magical. You kinda feel transported in time. It's quite and feels away from the rest of world. Great location for all kinds of events. Weddings, family reunions etc. Whatever they would allow. Beautiful area
We had the most amazing experience hosting my Dad’s 80th Birthday party at Boxwood Manor. The outdoor pavilion was perfect for our gathering and Annette and team were gracious in ensuring everything was perfect! Highly recommend Boxwood Manor for your next event!
Attended a wedding here and it was lovely. Perfect spot for a small wedding, reunion, etc. Chandeliers in the trees, lots of shade, pavilion was very nice and the well was the perfect spot for the food. The owner was very nice and we loved little Oliver❤.
My husband and I were privileged to attend a wedding here last evening. I had been to Boxwood Manor before, but this was my first wedding there. It was absolutely perfect. The grounds are beautiful, the history of the home is fascinating. Everything was well thought out and I can’t think of anything that was amiss.
Getting married at Boxwood Manor
Boxwood Manor comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Boxwood Manor
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Boxwood Manor — garden venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
