The setting
“It’s like a mix between a small botanic garden (very small) a trail, and a historical house.”
“I loved learning about the history of the estate, and one of the best parts is that you can explore every room, which makes the experience feel much more personal and immersive.”
“It’s wrapped in mangroves and tropical plants, and the ponds are filled with these unique yellow lilies (which is actually where the name "Bonnet" comes from).”

From the reviews
We absolutely loved our experience getting married at the Bonnet House. Susanne was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, and the venue itself is absolutely stunning.
We recently got married at the bonnet house and it was a dream. The property and house are gorgeous. It's hard to believe you are in the middle of downtown Fort Lauderdale. The planning process was made easy thanks to the hard working staff who helped us (i.e, Susanne and Debbie).
Getting married at Bonnet House Museum & Gardens
Bonnet House Museum & Gardens comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
