From the reviews
My husband and I were married at Belvedere House and Gardens in August 2025. I had googled “lesser known wedding venues” when doing my search because I wanted to find something that hadn’t already been done a million times.
My husband and I have always dreamed of being wed at a historic Victorian house near our own home in Maine. When the Belvedere came up on our radar, it was a total dream come true! The venue owners are delightful and thorough... they were there for all my random questions leading up to the big day.
My husband and I recently attended a wedding at this venue. It is truly breathtaking. The gardens are exquisite. The fountains are magical, and there are so many beautifully lit spaces to connect with friends. We loved the cozy cocktail hour in the vintage barn before an upscale tented reception!
What an amazing location for a wedding, everything was perfect, staff was friendly helpful and attentive. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. And the price was great compared to other locations.
Getting married at Belvedere House and Gardens
Belvedere House and Gardens comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular garden dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
