Avonlea Farms is the PERFECT Richmond-area venue for couples seeking an elevated garden space that isn't a "barn venue" for their wedding! What a dream it was to finally capture a wedding at this gorgeous location! The greenhouse is amazing and the bridal suite is perfect for getting ready photos. Jess was on top of absolutely everything and she relies on a great team to help her! She kept the day running smoothly and on time.
Avonlea Farms is absolutely stunning! I saw the images online and booked a tour- I cried when I signed for my date because I knew it would be the perfect place for our artdeco celestial wedding. The property itself feels magical.

First, see the garden at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — a garden that glows at golden hour in June can look very different at noon in March, so ask what's in bloom for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move, and does it hold everyone?), shade and bugs for a summer afternoon, the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
